At just 19 years old, Fina Strazza is the youngest Tony nominee of 2025. Though success has come early for the young actress, who just returned to Broadway in John Proctor Is the Villain, her nomination is not an honor she is taking for granted.
"I read this play for the first time two years ago. I fell in love with it and I got to work on it a little bit with Kimbery [Belflower] and Danya [Taymor] and Sadie [Sink] then. So for two years I've just been hoping that something would happen," she told BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge. "Then out of nowhere the ball started moving!"

John Proctor Is the Villain, written by Kimberly Belflower, is a contemporary play that explores themes of identity, morality, and societal expectations. The 78th Annual Tony Awards will air on Sunday, June 8, 2025.
